Rhymes and Rhythms (9:00 am to 9:30 am)

Overview

Let’s sing and dance along to classic hits such as “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes,” “Incy, Wincy Spider,” and “The Wheels on the Bus” as well as modern tunes like, “Baby Shark,” “Johny Johny Yes Papa,” and “One Little Finger”.

Our “Song of the Day” segment will introduce a new song each day. We will explore the story behind the song, study the lyrics, and learn the moves to the song. It will be so fun that the mommies and daddies would want to jive along.

Goals

The goal of this course is to help children improve their language development by expanding their vocabulary and increasing their phonological awareness. Learning music at a young age has also proven to improve children’s physical skills, social skills, and problem solving skills.
