Overview

Let’s immerse ourselves in the old tales and fables of yesteryear. Cheer for ယုန်နှင့်လိပ် as they run their legendary race, root for the hard-working snail in မပုကြွယ်နှင့်ခရုငယ် as he overcomes his challenges, and lend a hand to the humble mouse as he frees the mighty lion from his trap in ကျေးဇူးသိတတ်သောကြွက်ငယ်.

After listening to the stories, we will investigate the storyline, dig into the characters, and explore the moral of each story. We’ll also integrate fun activities like games and role-playing as part of each lesson.

This class will be in Burmese.

Goals

The goal of this course is to familiarize the learners with the Burmese tales and fables that their parents grew up listening to while promoting their Burmese language skills. The course will also enhance the learners social skills such as working together, taking turns, and communicating ideas.
